Packo Self priming Pumps
Packo SCP and CRP pumps are ideally suited as self priming and air handling pumps in the food and processing industries.
CRP - Sanitary stainless steel air handling pump
Pumps with integrated air separator.
Application: Process and CIP pump for the food industry. Excellent for systems in which the liquid regularly can contain air, a.o. CIP return, tanker and container unloading.
SCP2 - sanitary, selfpriming and air handling pump, up to 15 kW
The Packo SCP2 range of pumps are air handling and self priming centrifugal pumps. They are ideally suited as CIP-return pump, to transfer a mixture of cleaning fluid and air. This range goes up to 100 m³/h / 440 US.GPM - 45 m / 150 ft - 11 kW / 15 HP.
Liquid and air are sucked from the inlet chamber and mixed by the impeller. Ther mixture leaves the volute and is separated. The air leaves the pump through the outlet while the liquid is recirculated. This liquid is mixed again with air from the inlet chamber. This cycle continues until all the air is removed from the suction line.
From that moment, the pump starts functioning as a normal centrifugal pump. When the pump is stopped, it will retain enough liquid to selfprime when next started.
SCP66 - sanitary, selfpriming and air handling pump, up to 2.2 kW.
The Packo SCP66 range are air handling and selfpriming centrifugal pumps. They are ideally suited as CIP-return pump, to transfer a mixture of cleaning fluid and air. This range is limited to 30 m³/h / 130 US.GPM - 18 m / 60 ft - 2,2 kW / 3 HP.
