Packo FP63, FP66 & FP68 Hygienic Centrifugal Pump

The Packo FP63, FP66 and FP68 are small, single stage, stainless steel centrifugal pumps. They offer good value for money, combining a sanitary design in a modular and functional construction. This range is limited to 45 m³/h / 200 US.GPM - 26 m / 85 ft - 2.2 kW / 3 HP.

Perfectly Cleanable Stainless Steel 316L Construction

  • All wetted parts are stainless steel 316L or better
  • Pump casings are made of cold-rolled plate: 100% non-porous and extremely smooth
  • Impellers are investment cast and receive follow-up treatment

High Quality Electropolished Finish

All stainless steel parts in contact are electropolished as final surface treatment. This leads to an extremely low micro roughness with a highly increased resistance to adhesions, resulting in excellent ease of cleaning and the ultimate bacteriological purity.

Electropolishing also offers a highly improved corrosion resistance due to a higher percentage of the noble materials chromium and nickel at the surface.

Crevice-free design

The crevice-free design of all parts in contact - pump casing, back plate, impeller and seals - in combination with the optimal internal turbulence fully meets today's requirements for hygienic standards.

Functional design

  • Stainless steel motor adapters.
  • Stainless steel motor bases and shrouds are also available.
  • Open impeller with the following advantages: low NPSH-values, excellent air-handling, non-clogging, no axial stress on motor bearings, low pressure in seal cavity and extended seal life.
  • Volute pump case (series 66 & 68). Higher efficiency, less turbulence and gentle product handling.
  • A wide range of seal types, configurations and material combinations are available. There is only one seal diameter for the whole range.
  • Motors are according to the IEC or NEMA standard. Options include: explosion proof, special voltages, high efficiency, special dimensions, uprated paint finishes, integrated frequency converter, etc.

The Packo FP pumps are mainly used in the food and processing industries. Some actual applications are: milk, egg, soya, beer, wort, wine, fruit juices, soft-drinks, alcohol, yeast, starch, vegetable and ethereal oils, sugar solutions, brine, blood, light chemicals, solvents, detergents, water, CIP-solutions, etc.

The range is limited to 45 m³/h / 200 US.GPM - 26 m / 85 ft - 2.2 kW / 3 hp.

Packo FP2 Hygienic Centrifugal Pump

The FP2 single stage, hygienic stainless steel centrifugal pump is Packo's showpiece for the food and processing industries. Designed to the strictest (CIP/SIP) cleanability standards, the FP2 was the first centrifugal pump in the world to be given the EHEDG certificate of cleanability. Furthermore, the intelligent, modular construction incorporating standard components provides a very functional design. The FP2 range goes up to 125 m³/h / 550 US.GPM - 120 m / 400 ft - 22 kW / 30 HP.

  • Heavy duty stainless steel motor adapters with large openings facilitate ease of visual inspection and removal of any leakage
  • Stainless steel motor bases and shrouds (non-vibrating and noise-reducing design) are available
  • Open impeller with following advantages: low NPSH-values, excellent air-handling, non-clogging, no axial stress on motor bearings, low pressure in seal cavity and extended seal life
  • Volute pump case (series 160 – 200 – 80-250 and 100-250). Higher efficiency, less turbulence and gentle product handling.

  • Closed impeller with double curved blades, investment cast one-piece-construction with the following advantages: high efficiency, extra low NPSH-values, non-clogging, short back-blades eliminates possible axial stress on motor bearings and creates a controlled pressure in the seal cavity extending seal life time
  • Volute pump case (series 160 & 200). Higher efficiency, less turbulance and gentler product handling.
