Lifts and Mounts for Drum Pumps

Stainless steel or Painted Powerlift

The Kecol Powerlift is a single post pneumatic unit, mounted on castors and is primarily used to raise and lower Kecol drum pumps. The Powerlift is available in painted construction or stainless steel construction.

Features & Benefits

  • Avoids manual handling of the pump
  • Transfer products cleanly, quietly and efficiently
  • Avoids manual handling of product drums
  • Mobile unit
  • Can be modified to suit various vessels/containers

Stainless steel Rotary Powerlift

The Kecol Rotary Powerlift is a single post pneumatic unit, which is fixed to the floor and is used to raise and lower Kecol drum pumps. The unit enables full 360° rotation of the pump to gain access to the drums and incorporates an articulated arm to improve flexibility. The Rotary Powerlift is available in stainless steel construction only.

Features & Benefits

  • Avoids manual handling of the pump
  • Transfer products cleanly, quietly and efficiently
  • Rotates through 360°
  • Articulated arm for increased flexibility
  • Can be modified to suit various vessels/containers

Stainless steel or Painted Powerprime

Kecol Powerprime is a single post pneumatic unit and is used with a follower plate. The unit applies pressure to the follower plate to give a positive prime to the pump, allowing products up to 150,000 cPs to be pumped cold. The wiper ring wipes the inner walls of the drum to remove the maximum amount of product from the drum. The Powerprime is available in painted construction or stainless steel construction and also as a mobile unit.

Features & Benefits

  • Avoids manual handling of the pump
  • Transfer products cleanly, quietly and efficiently
  • Wipes the inside of the drum to reduce product waste
  • Assists in aiding priming of the pump
  • Can be modified to suit various vessels/containers

Maxiprime

For pastes & high viscosity products that do not flow

The main difficulty with pastes and high viscosity products that do not flow is that the pump cannot be primed and simply cavitates, pumping air instead of product! The solution is to use a Kecol Maxiprime twin cylinder pressure priming system in conjunction with a Kecol stubby type piston pump, maintaining a positive prime on the pump and thus ensuring that it does not cavitate. As the product level falls, the sides of the drum are wiped clean by the follower plate on the priming system.

Features & Benefits

  • Handles pastes up to 10,000 poise viscosity 'COLD'
  • Transfer products cleanly, quietly and efficiently
  • Eliminates Product Waste
  • Simple and Safe Operation
  • Polished Stainless Steel or Painted Steel Construction
  • Optional ‘Quick Strip’ Follower Plate Assembly
