Plastic Air Operated Diaphragm Pumps - DEPA P Series

Air operated diaphragm pumps made from plasticTechnically, usable metals do not always feature the required chemical resistance with corrosive discharge media. Therefore DEPA has developed an air-operated diaphragm pump, with the individual body parts made from plastic.

This manufacturing process ensures maximum form stability of the pump, even under extreme operating conditions. Unlike with designs made of cast metal, pressure restriction is not necessary. In addition, the design enables the units to be implemented even in aggressive environments.

Virtually all fluids, from water to slurries/pastes, are pumped.

Various materials for body, diaphragms, valve seats and valve balls are available so that the pumps can be individually adapted.

For explosion-proof areas, electrically conductive plastics are available

In order to avoid electrostatic self-charge of the pumps when discharging insulating fluids, the pumps can be supplied in electrically conductive PP or PTFE, specific resistance <106 W cm in accordance with the ìStatische Elektrizittî (Static Electricity) guidelines. The units may also be grounded.

Size range: The pumps are manufactured in 5 or 7 different sizes (types) with connecting flanges in accordance with DIN, ANSI und JIS.
